Ideally you want enough total heat capacity to store the total energy of one set of fuel cells (one per reactor). It seems to generate as much power as it is supposed to (over an hour of testing and reactors only reached 750850 degrees, even in very long rows), but there may (possibly) be some inefficiencies at full load and very long tiling. Each fuel cell produces 8GJ plus the neighbour bonus (so a reactor with two neighbours gets 24GJ from each fuel cell, one with three gets 32GJ).
